The date has been set for Marquee’s Singapore opening (April 12), and it looks like a slew of hotshot DJs will be in town next month to celebrate with the Ferris wheel nightclub. (Yes, that’s what we’re calling it now, since it’s the only one in town with such extravagant carnival vibes.)
All in all, three back-to-back party weekends will commence once the club flings open its doors, giving merrymakers a chance to recuperate during the week. First up, Dutch DJs Tiësto and Afrojack (with A$AP Rocky) will spin the beats of house at Marquee’s grand opening on April 12 and 13 respectively. Next, English electronic music outfit Above & Beyond will take the decks on April 19, followed by zany American electro house DJ Steve Aoki the next day.
Rounding up the party series, American DJ Kaskade brings his progressive house tunes to the dance floor on April 26, while Dutch electronic dance music duo Showtek ends it all with a bang the next day.
Pre-sale tickets can be purchased on the club’s official site from $20 (not inclusive of drinks), or you can just walk up to the door and fork out $28-$38 for ladies or $38-$48 for men to get entry with a house pour.
