Lush 99.5FM and Moonbeats Asia to debut new electronic music series tomorrow at Velvet

It’s a very good Saturday evening for all electronic music fans tomorrow when Lush 99.5FM debuts a new monthly showcase right before acclaimed LA producer Alfred Darlington — aka Daedelus — performs live at Velvet Underground.

The party begins at 10pm with Kaleidoscope, Lush 99.5FM’s new showcase, which plans to feature local and international acts side by side. The event’s debut will see veteran DJ Reiki as well as esteemed indie-electronic duo .gif warming the dance floor at Velvet Underground.

Following Kaleidoscope, gig promoters Moonbeats Asia will also be debuting a new series called The Deep End, promising an eclectic mix of regional and international producers and DJs — and they’ve managed to pull in IDM maestro Daedelus as well as Vietnamese bass and dubstep pioneer Jase, as well as local DJ Zushan.

Cover charge to Velvet Underground will be $28 or $33 — more details on their respective Facebook event pages.
