An American pop-rock band’s video announcing their arrival to Singapore for a concert has drawn disdain from locals.

LANY, which consists of musicians Paul Jason Klein and Jake Clifford Goss, posted an Instagram Story yesterday afternoon showing a duo standing on the conveyor belts of Changi Airport’s baggage claim area.

“Just landed in Singapore,” the video caption read.

The Los Angeles band played Singapore Indoor Stadium last night after their previous tour stop in Kuala Lumpur on Sunday. They will be playing in Jarkarta tomorrow.

Singapore Redditors thought their actions were “unacceptable” and childish.

“Adults acting like kids..this is what people look for in entertainment nowadays?” user Samuorai wrote.

For a city that has signage for everything, the airport does not explicitly say that one is not allowed to stand on the baggage conveyor belts – but it’s common sense not to.
