Heineken has entered the shoe business, quite literally.

The brewery has teamed up with shoemaker Dominic Ciambrone, better known as The Shoe Surgeon, to come up with Heinekicks, limited-edition sneakers featuring soles filled with beer that also come with a removable bottle opener.

The kicks will be on display at the Limited Edition Vault in 313@Somerset from Aug. 11 to 24.

“The shoe not only embodies the energy of Heineken Silver, but literally carries it. I can’t say I’ve ever designed a sneaker that contains actual beer before,’’ Ciambrone, who has made shoes for stars such as LeBron James, DJ Khaled and Drake, said in a news release.

The shoes feature a sleek green lenticular upper with silver and red accents and contains a removable metal bottle opener in its tongue. The soles have been surgically injected with Heineken Silver to allow wearers to experience what its like walking on beer.
