A screaming throng of fans showed up last night to give a K-Pop celeb a warm welcome at a brief appearance.
Tiffany Young of K-pop girl group Girls’ Generation made a stop for beauty brand Lancome’s First Beauty Tech Flagship pop-up last night outside Mandarin Gallery.
Young shot smiles and waved at fans throughout. She posed with the brand’s local ambassadors and teased her upcoming promotions with Girls’ Generation, which recently celebrated its 15th anniversary with an album and reunion of all 8 members for the first time in five years.
The popup celebrated 13 years of the brand’s anti-aging serum and its latest beauty technology. It runs today till Sept. 7.
The brand said Young made the cut as its celebrity guest for her “embodiment of strength as a modern, independent woman.”
The venue was already packed with fans hours before the event and the crowds eventually blocked off all entrances to the stretch of stores.
Organizers said the appearance was an hour long, but attendees said Young only showed up for 15 minutes.
