The DBS Marina Regatta has been around for quite some time, but this year’s a big one, since it’s the Golden Jubilee (50th anniversary) of main organizer DBS Bank. So it’s safe to say you can expect the seventh edition to do something massive — like setting up what’s apparently Southeast Asia’s “largest land and water obstacle course,” done in collaboration with American sportswear brand Under Armour.

Battle Bay Extreme, also touted as the region’s most technically challenging, is basically the place for living out all our Ninja Warrior fantasies. (Seriously, though, these things are never as easy to do as they’re made to look.)

Participants will be able to choose from beginner (Initiate), intermediate (Intense), and advanced (er, Insane) levels — though it looks like any of the three levels will call on all the strength, speed, and endurance your channel-surfing (or gym-sculpted) body possesses to beat the obstacles: tilting hexagons, sandbag throw, rope swing, inverted walls, and wire crawls, to name a few.

Registration fees range from $8 to $28, and proceeds will be donated to Thye Hua Kwan Moral Charities to support Active Aging for seniors.

Good news for those who prefer to sit on the sidelines and watch others suffer: There will also be a celebrity challenge happening on June 3, with participants such as Singaporean Olympic swimmer Joseph Schooling, national sailors Griselda Khng and Olivia Chen, and a bunch of “ambassadors” who represent gyms like TripleFit, Pure Yoga, and Pure Fitness.

After all the excitement over fitness people doing fitness things, the activities continue: There’s the Creators’ Market, which will house a communal kitchen, an area hosting yoga workouts and workshops, and a bazaar hawking healthy snacks and drinks. Or, you can also stroll over to Artbox Singapore v2.0 at Bayfront Event Space for food and fashion — more calories, more huge crowds.

DBS Marina Regatta is on from May 26-27 & June 2-3 at The Promontory @ Marina Bay. Free admission; ticketed for Creator’s Market classes, $8-$28 for Battle Bay Extreme.
