Generous chunks of Australian beef, tender rice noodles with a handful of basil and coriander sit in a rich, amber-hued broth that’s been simmered for hours. It’s what goes into this comforting bowl of Halal Thai beef noodles at Thaksin Beef Noodle.
The stall was named after the former prime minister of Thailand, who actually visited the stall with his sister Yingluck Shinawatra in the December of 2018 to sample the beef noodles. In stall owner Jaesen Ng’s words, “If it’s good enough for two prime ministers, I’m sure it is good enough for you”.
You can get your beef noodle fix at either of their two of their outlets — one at Seah Im Food Centre and another in Clementi. Or of course, sit pretty and order it in a few clicks. Thaksin Beef Noodle is now on Grab Hawker Picks on the Grab app.
