So, maybe you haven’t had a chance to try Tiger Sugar’s famous brown sugar boba milk because you’ve been turned off by the hour-long (or more) queues. Well, perhaps you won’t have to wait any longer, because the Taiwanese bubble tea brand — which recently debuted at Capitol Piazza — has already opened its second branch at Chinatown Point, to be followed by an Orchard store in January next year.
And more outlets means diverted crowds, which means you’ll actually get a chance to buy the drink without waiting in line. Or at least, that’s the idea. We hope.
Oh, and for those wondering whether the brand lives up to the hype, we’re here to tell you that yes, it totally does. But as for whether it’s worth the one-hour wait, that depends on your patience level.
Not much else has been said on where the new space will be, but if your curiosity gets the better of you, perhaps a walk around the malls in town looking out for boarded-up units can rummage up some ideas.
Tiger Sugar is currently at #B2-32 Capitol Piazza and #B1-42 Chinatown Point.
