All you Japanophiles/weeaboos/otakus better sit down for this. By the end of the year, Changi Airport will open its Japan Gourmet Hall Sora, a brand new food court that offers exclusively Japanese cuisine. Sugoi ne!

Estimated to launch by November at Terminal 2, the joint venture between a subsidiary of Japanese airline All Nippon Airways (ANA) and Singapore-based Komars Group will take over the space that Seafood Paradise and Fish & Co used to occupy on the third floor, TODAY reported. Essentially, Japan Gourmet Hall Sora will be the biggest restaurant space in Changi Airport, with an estimated seating capacity of 300 people, covering 721 sqm.

More than just a bog standard food court, the hall will host six popular Japanese gourmet F&B brands that offer the likes of fresh seafood bowls and okonomiyaki pancakes, reported Nikkei Asian Review. Patrons will be able to order from multiple restaurants before settling the bill.
