New brunch faves like crab cakes and scotch eggs now on the menu at Curious Palette

Since 2015, Curious Palette has been serving up brunch and coffee to avid cafe-hoppers (much like its sister cafe, Strangers’ Reunion). And to celebrate its first anniversary, the Insta-pretty cafe’s menu has undergone a revamp to offer diners more options alongside signatures like soft shell crab burger, croque madame and ricotta hotcakes.

Salted egg wings

For starters, try the salted egg wings ($12.90) for a plate of crispy, juicy chicken wings slathered with homemade salted egg yolk sauce. The magic mushrooms ($14.90), coated with crunchy breadcrumbs and served with an aioli sauce, are pretty addictive, too. But if you want something a little healthier, go for the tofu salad ($13.90) of baby spinach, tempura arugula, orange slices, bonito flakes and white sesame dressing.

At brunch, new additions to the menu include crab cakes on English muffins ($19.50) with a side of purple sweet potato mayo slaw, sweet potato fries and a sous vide egg, as well as the corned beef scotch egg ($18.50), which is accompanied by cauliflower cous cous, guac and green mango salsa.

If you’re popping by for dinner, try something new like the truffled risotto ($17.90), chorizo and foie gras linguini ($22.50) or skillet grilled pork loin ($24.90).
