So the rumors turned out to be true. Rejoice, all you fans of McDonald’s Nasi Lemak Burger — and those who never got a chance to try it before it vanished from the fast food chain’s menu — for the locally-inspired creation is making its comeback today (Aug 31).

Thanks to fervent fans who made it their social media mission to see the burger (from $5.95) return, the National Day special menu hits all outlets once again, with other items like the Coconut Pie (from $1.20), Chendol McFlurry (from $3) and Bandung McFizz (from $3), as well as new ones like Potato Wedges (from $3.80) and Sweet Corn Cone (from $1).

Once the lunch hour hits, feel free to make your way to your nearest McDonald’s outlet. Or avoid the crowds like we do with McDelivery. Or, you know, make your own.
