There’s plenty to see and do at the newest crown jewel of Changi Airport, but don’t let the big name brands like Shake Shack and the Pokémon Centre stop you from checking out what else the gigantic, 10-story mall has to offer.
Take Pazzion, for example. The homegrown footwear brand, which first debuted in 2002, has opened its first cafe concept in one of the basement levels, and it’s quite a stylish spot. Situated next door to its shoe shop, the Pazzion Cafe has a modern elegance about it, and it beckons with a glass display of pretty treats, vintage-looking props, and Scandinavian-style furnishings.
The black, white, and gold interior may make for a sweet photo backdrop, but the atrium seating area is where you can get a view of the now-iconic Rain Vortex cascading down the funnel.
Desserts and coffee aren’t the only things you can have here; surprisingly, the cafe offers a small savory line-up as well, with items such as grilled salmon, avocado, and poached egg quinoa bowl ($18), scrambled egg and avocado croissant ($16), and cold truffle angel hair pasta ($18). If you’re looking for more than just cake, try the French toast with poached pear, banana, and berries ($17), or the soufflé with vanilla ice cream and berries ($15).
To resume your shopping after tea break, head next door to Pazzion’s ninth Singapore store and browse through the brand’s latest collection showcased against an industrial chic backdrop.
