This is it, basic bitches — Spanish frozen yogurt favorite llaollao is no more. Every single one of the once-popular outlets (remember the massive snaking queues outside every store? Those were the days…) will be shuttered from today onwards, only to be replaced by another European froyo chain called Yolé. D+1 Holding — the master franchisee of llaollao in Singapore — confirmed it was ceasing operations for the brand, which has been here for four years. But it did not reveal its reasons for doing so, Channel NewsAsia reported.
Just know that by Dec 9, all 29 llaollao outlets across the island will transform into Yolé ones.
Expect servings of natural froyo and coconut soft serve from the new-to-Singapore brand, with new froyo flavors scooped up every so often. Prices will range from S$2.50 to S$6.95 for tubs and smoothies.
