You would have noticed by now that riders delivering food and drinks for Foodpanda across the country are attired in the hue of striking pink.

That’s because the food delivery service has evolved from orange to pink in a branding revamp. The panda (Panda, Panda, Panda, Panda, Panda) remains, but design-wise,it’s gone for a modern contemporary look with a distinctive pink color to be more “outstanding”, according to the press release. And a higher degree of safety for the delivery riders, apparently.

“We took the refreshed design as an opportunity to improve our visibility and also provide even more safety to the riders,” said Foodpanda’s global CMO Julian Dames.

“Not only are uniforms eye-catching with the pink color, but rider jackets are also lightweight and water resistant.”

Regular users would have also noticed the revamped app and website that aims to improve the user experience with live tracking features, among other refinements.

Most importantly, however, Foodpanda’s celebrating the brand revamp with a pop-up party at Hopheads tomorrow evening, which is free and open to everyone. The First Bite Pop Up will see the brand partner with some of Singapore’s best brands including the likes of Guzman Y Gomez, Wing Zone and Krispy Kreme, as well as free cocktails with the aid of whiskey brand Monkey Shoulder.
