For festive vibes, check out this ’90s bubblegum pop-inspired tapas and cocktail bar

How ’bout a little ’90s bubblegum pop-inspired fun for the holidays? Just in time for the beginning of the festive season, Gallery & Co’s Pop Bar makes a three-month appearance with happy hour promos, tropical cocktails and feel good pop melodies.

Polynesian-Hawaiian tapas dishes feature on the bar bites menu, with options like salmon poke ($18), spam musubi with tamago and a drizzle of teriyaki sauce ($16), pretzel bites baked with gruyere and black pepper ($14), pork adobo tacos with slow roasted pork belly ($14), and avocado egg rolls wrapped in wanton skins ($12).

If you’re stopping by for after work drinks, you’ll get a dose of summery fun, thanks to the cocktails like Duck Duck Goose, Beverly Hills and The History of Disco ($15). But for something a little different, get the ‘poptails’ ($18), or popsicle cocktails, such as candied spiced fizzy apple and the pineapple gum pop.

From now till Nov 27, try mini taster portions of poptails at $5 from 5pm to 7pm; or order bottled Asahi beers during happy hour for $4.30 at 4.30pm, $5.30 at 5.30pm… and you get the gist.

Pop Bar is at Gallery & Co, National Gallery Singapore, 1 St Andrew’s Rd until Jan 2017, Thurs-Sat 4pm-midnight.
