In highly relevant piece of news for all the cool cats who hold BK Eating House close to their hearts, the late-night hangout joint at South Bridge Road now accepts NETS payments, and soon, credit/debit cards too.
Beloved among the nightlife crowd for its proper delish bak chor mee and homemade iced lemon tea, BK Eating House has been a bastion for pre- and post- clubbing sessions — especially so when now-defunct indie hotspot Home Club (RIP) was just across the road. The only downside to eating there was the fact that there weren’t any ATMs close by; an obvious problem when one simply can’t think of anything else but chowing down on some spicy noodles after a night of boozing.
But BK never disappoints. Patrons are able to enjoy their hangout sessions even if they don’t have cash on hand, now that they can just pay by NETS, and it’ll be even more convenient when credit card payments come around soon. Praise be!
