Practically every couple who gets married wants to have a wedding to remember. Yet this fitness-oriented couple took it up a notch: by getting married in Spartan-themed costumes.

Vince and Dollzen Miraflor ditched the white gown and barong in favor of capes and robes as they exchanged vows in a solemn garden wedding surrounded by family members and loved ones.

The groom, in particular, channeled his inner Leonidas as he and his groomsmen were dressed up to resemble his very own Spartan army, complete with spears and shields.

Users praised the unique theme and pointed out the groom’s toned physique, dubbing him worthy of the outfit that showed off his washboard abs.

Sana all may abs (Wish all grooms had abs),” one comment read.

Meanwhile, the bride looked regal in an ethereal headdress and queenly robes, while sporting golden cuffs and jewelry.

In case you’re wondering about the 300-esque motif, turns out it’s actually quite fitting as the Miraflors are professional fighters: Dollzen is a professional boxer while Vince is a competitive muay thai fighter. They met at a mixed martial arts gym, when their coach paired them up as drill partners.

In fact, Vince proposed to Dollzen shortly after his first Muay Thai fight in Thailand in 2019.

Vince shared that their families were initially apprehensive about their unconventional wedding theme. He told Coconuts, “At first, the family was hesitant but when they saw that we were exerting much effort into the preparation they understood how passionate we were about it and that it really mattered to us and they helped us every step of the way.”

The wedding venue owner was also supportive, as he and his staff placed all hands on deck to carry out the preparations and address any challenges — especially since the couple brought all of their 12 dogs to the wedding.
