Teen survives being stabbed in the head with a fork

On Mon, Dec 21, 12:40am, a fight broke out at Padi’s Point on A.H. Lacson Street in Sta. Cruz, Manila.

“Factory worker Danilo Tabala, 17, was stabbed in the head with a fork and others were wounded as well when a male customer picked a fight with two pairs who were then dancing on the dance floor,” reports Itchie G. Cabayan on Journal Online.

Aside from Tabala, the others injured are the following:

  • Johanna Marie Santos, 29, secretary of Barangay 161, Zone 14
  • Edyssey Randolph Sison, 23, a Customs representative
  • Dexta John Inocencio, 24, a college student
  • Richard Perez, 30, branch manager of Padi’s Point

The report noted: “It was not clear why the suspect, who was later identified as Jerry Padayao, 23, allegedly attacked Tabala, who was then on the dance floor.”

The fight then got so out of hand that, at one point, bottles “rained” on the victims who were reportedly there holding their Christmas party.

Padayao is facing frustrated murder, multiple slight physical injuries, and malicious mischief. He is also asked to pay PHP56,000 for the damage to property.
