Sexual predator who tortured girls on cam arrested in Cebu

A 23-year old woman was arrested by the National Bureau of Investigations in Central Visayas (NBI-7) for sexual abuse on at least nine young children, ranging from 1 to 13 years old.

Liezyl Margallo worked with her live-in partner, Australian pedophile Peter Scully, 54, who gained international attention after he was arrested in 2015 for establishing a lucrative child pornography business in the Philippines.

Dubbed by local media as “Savage Girl,” Margallo was behind the grotesque video “The Destruction of Daisy” where an 18-month-old toddler was hanged upside down and was subjected to torture and sexual abuse. In a another video, a 12-year-old girl ended up dead after kitchen knives were inserted in her private parts.

The couple allegedly lured homeless children in Mindanao by promising them a better life, but the victims were instead forced to perform sexual acts for Scully’s lucrative online pornography business where child predators from all over the world pay as much as USD10,000 per live streaming.

Prior to her arrest, Margallo used different aliases to conceal her identity.

According to Cebu Daily News, Margallo “lived a fancy life, enjoyed the comforts of a high-end condominium and was a regular fixture in one of the city’s top workout fitness centers” as Shannon Carpio.

Margallo’s friends have no idea that she was behind the disturbing videos. She was described as “so sweet and innocent.”

She was arrested in a resort in Malapascua Island, Cebu.

“The NBI served 14 arrest warrants to the cohort but said she has still 59 other cases of child sex offenses together with Scully” reports ABS-CBN News.
