Antipolo City is now trending on Twitter but not for reasons that should be celebrated.

Chief of the Antipolo Police, Supt. Serafin Petalio, told ABS-CBN News that Tagnong was on his way to Quiapo Church in Manila with his live-in partner Maria Angela Cabaltera Hadap when the ambush happened at around 6:40am.

Tagnong was declared dead on arrival at the Antipolo Doctors Hospital after suffering from multiple gunshot wounds while Hadap, who sustained four gunshot wounds, is now in stable condition.

Found at the crime scene were 12 empty .40 caliber shells.

Police are still investigating the incident.
