If you thought yesterday’s surveillance video of the Taal Volcano eruption was something, wait till you see this.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS-DOST) has just released drone footage taken this morning, showing “continuous upswelling of the Taal Main Crater Lake…producing three-kilometer high degassing plumes.”
The footage was taken this morning, July 2, 2021, at 10:31am.
Pictures may be worth a thousand words, but a video is worth everything:
Alert Level 3 is still up around Taal Volcano, and PHIVOLCS has reminded the public that Taal Volcano Island is still a permanent danger zone.
