Over 100 residents from Ilocos region were rescued after massive flooding ravaged their hometowns due to typhoon Maring.

The Philippine Coast Guard evacuated people from their homes in the provinces of La Union, Ilocos Norte, and Ilocos Sur as part of their rescue operations, as “Maring” continued to devastate various parts of Luzon.

Calls for online donations poured on social media to help affected residents.
