Jose Angel Honrado is back in his post as the head of Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA).

After three weeks of medical leave, Honrado reported for work Tuesday and led the ceremonial opening of the Wings Transit Lounge at the departure area of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3.

Honrado visibly lost weight and has a bandage on his right arm when he led the opening ceremony of the Wings Transit Lounge, which can accommodate 50 passengers at a time.

“Eto buhay pa ako,” Honrado told reporters when asked about his health.

Honrado, 65, earlier went on leave after suffering a heart attack.

MIAA senior assistant general manager Vicente Guerzon temporarily took over his post.
