Cockfighting is still a no-go, while lottery and horse racing with off-track betting are allowed for now. Bars, concert halls, theaters, internet cafés, and other entertainment venues will remain shuttered, along with indoor tourist attractions, indoor sports venues, and gyms.
Secretary Harry Roque, spokesperson for both the president and the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF), gave these guidelines for continued General Community Quarantine (GCQ) for the NCR Plus area (Metro Manila, Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna, and Rizal), after President Rodrigo Duterte announced its extension until June 15.
Roque also said that indoor dining services, venues for meetings and conferences, and outdoor tourist attractions are allowed up to 30 percent venue capacity in areas under GCQ with restrictions, while in areas under the regular GCQ, up to 50 percent of capacity is allowed. For personal care services, Roque said that this is allowed up to 40 percent in GCQ with restrictions, while it is allowed up to 50 percent in regular GCQ. Religious gatherings are allowed to have up to 30 percent capacity, with local government units having the option to increase this to 50 percent.
Interzonal travel is allowed point-to-point, with no age restrictions but with test-before-travel requirements. Travelers are also reminded to check with their destination cities for the LGU requirements.
Travel within NCR Plus is still allowed for persons aged 18 to 65.
