Fully vaccinated senior citizens may now leave their homes, says the latest advisory from the IATF. This is good news for both the seniors and everybody who has been stuck at home with them for almost a year and a half now.

The decision was announced in the latest IATF resolution, dated June 10, 2021.

Fully vaccinated senior citizens need to present their vaccination cards in order to travel in areas under general community quarantine (GCQ) and modified GCQ (MGCQ). Interzonal travel is still not allowed.

Official figures show that over 6M vaccine doses have been given out throughout the country as of June 2021, with more than 604,00 people having been fully vaccinated.
