Nobody got killed, but a lot of people probably entertained murderous thoughts about the truck driver.
“The East Service Road in Western Bicutan, Taguig City was closed to traffic on Monday morning, November 17, after a truck crashed and toppled 16 posts,” reports Jerome Lantin on ABS-CBNnews.com.
The truck’s driver, Rogelio Cruz, claimed that “the tires of his truck suddenly burst, causing his vehicle to fall on its side and drag a power line down.”
Ultimately, Cruz’s runaway truck took down 16 power posts.
The report noted: “Aside from the heavy traffic build-up in the area, the incident also left several areas in the village without power supply.”
