Earning criticism after the state-run Philippines News Agency (PNA) used the wrong logo for a story about the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), it’s only a matter of time before the Internet swoops in with their hilarious reactions. But we were definitely not expecting the best to come from Dole Philippines themselves.
Dole, “the world’s largest producer and marketer of high-quality fresh fruits, fresh vegetables and fresh cut flowers with a growing line of quality packaged foods,” posted their response on their official Philippine Facebook page this weekend.
This photo was posted along with the caption that read “Meanwhile… 😉😇😁🍍🍍” with their hashtag “#SpreadTheSunshine.”
The post has since been taken down.
After the PNA suffered another easily avoidable mistake, Presidential Communications Secretary Martin Andanar said they are going to investigate if they are being sabotaged.
Well, from the looks of it, they won’t be needing much help in that area.
