P7.3 million worth of methamphetamine, also known as shabu, were seized in a buy-bust operation in Guadalupe, Cebu City this week.
Local police confiscated 1,075 grams of shabu and arrested 34-year-old Ramil Cabajar, who was said to be a safe-keeper and a runner of a former high-profile detainee at the New Bilibid Prison in Muntinlupa.
Authorities said that the suspect mainly carried out his transactions through his mobile phone.
Officers recovered nine large packs and seven medium-size packs of suspected drugs from Cabajar upon his arrest.
