Here’s yet another case of suspected cocaine floating on Philippine waters.

A fisherman found two blocks of suspected cocaine floating off Barangay (village) Quezon in Libjo, Dinagat Islands on Mindanao island on Sunday.

Fisherman Felix Miasco was just walking by the shore that evening when he noticed the suspicious package, ABS-CBN News reported. Multiple reports state that this happened at around 7:10pm.

Miasco reportedly found the suspected cocaine inside a sealed bag, the Caraga Police said according to The Philippine Daily Inquirer. He then surrendered it to Village Captain Jack Llmera, RMN wrote. Llmera then called the Libjo Municipal Police Station and gave them the suspected drugs.

The suspected cocaine reportedly amounted to about 1.1 kilos.

According to ABS-CBN News, the contraband is now in the custody of the Philippine National Police Crime Laboratory in Surigao City.

Cocaine bricks have been found near or floating on Philippine waters since February when at least 37 blocks were found in Dinagat Islands. Similar packages were also discovered in other parts of the country including Davao OrientalQuezon Province, Camarines Norte, Aurora, and Siargao.

Authorities still have not determined where these drugs are coming from.
