Philippine immigration agents are preparing criminal complaints against American Roy Hoy Alderman, 58, who arrived in Manila from Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam last week.
According to the International Business Times, the Bureau of Immigration (BI) in Manila was tipped off by the United States embassy that Alderman would be entering the country to meet with minors he met online.
“His conversations with the would-be victims allegedly suggested that Alderman was going to meet them when he comes here and have sexual intercourse with them,” Morente was quoted in the Inquirer.
After facing charges in the Philippines, if convicted and sentenced, Alderman would then face deportation proceedings, according to immigration officials.
