The Year of the Tiger brings its share of festivities (and lots of tikoy). But in case you need some extra festive cheer, here’s one that will lift your spirits: in things we loved online this week, you can count this lion costume-wearing corgi on top of that list.

Beloved specialty doughnut shop Molly’s Donuts & Brunch Café posted a photo of their adorable guest who came in to ring in the new year.

“A Special visit from this little Dragon Dancer to celebrate Chinese New Year,” the shop wrote on their Instagram page, and we can’t help but fawn over this corgi’s CNY-themed outfit.

Traditionally performed during the Lunar New Year, the lion and dragon dance is meant to ward off evil spirits and invite happiness and prosperity. We love the idea of Molly the Corgi (@heymollyandellie — no relation to the shop, we’re told) coming in and doing exactly that.
