American actor Jason Momoa has finally arrived in Manila, as you’ve probably already seen his overzealous fans scream on social media.

A photo of the Aquaman star in Manila’s Ninoy Aquino International Airport has been making its rounds online ever since he landed last night.

Also with Momoa is Amber Heard who plays Mera, his on-screen partner in the upcoming DC Extended Universe film.

Here’s a snap from Heard’s Instagram Story showing the film’s team riding an airport cart.

There’s also this video of Heard and Momoa as they arrived.

But the one photo fans are going crazy over is this fairly mundane one of Momoa going through immigration.

He’s literally just standing there but people can be seen taking photos of him in the background.

Those who weren’t lucky enough to be in the airport when Momoa arrived took to social media to share their excitement and shared the photo with pop culture references.

Filbar’s Online, the official account of a local comic book shop wrote: “The first Atlantean diplomat to visit the Philippines,” with a bunch of sea creature emojis.

Momoa plays Aquaman (aka Arthur Curry), whose father is human and mother is from the underwater world Atlantis. He can communicate with marine life forms and is part of the Justice League.

@imbryanellisc was beyond happy even before Momoa arrived.

“Jason freaking Momoa is in HK (maybe Amber Heard too). They’re two hours away from Manila my goodness,” he wrote. “Waves of excitement with a splash of happiness just hit me. The King and Queen of the Seven Seas are coming!!!”

While @ako_si_joshua15 was a lot less articulate about his excitement.

He wrote: “Jason Momoa is in Manila,” and simply repeated “aquaman” several times.

Many netizens, however, were more excited that Khal Drogo was gracing the country with his presence.

Momoa played Khal Drogo, the chieftain of a Dothraki khalasa in the hit HBO series Game of Thrones (GoT).

@xantheclaus said:

“Them: Aquaman is here! I repeat, Aquaman is in Manila!

And then there’s me:

BITCHES KHAL DROGO IS HERE OMG YES.

I don’t know why I still refer to Jason Momoa as Khal Drogo”

While @crazyangelie said she couldn’t hold back her tears, GoT style.

“Omg Jason Momoa is in Manila already! *cries in Dothraki*,” she wrote.

Some fans, on the other hand, just shared how much they want to see the actor — no pop culture references needed.

“My birthday wish: to see Jason Momoa while he’s in Manila,” @tishietishie said with a crying emoji.

“My boo is already here in Manila,” @Vinluan Marga said.  “I WANNA MEET HIM PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.”

@itstheRthing had no idea that Momoa would even be coming.

“Jason Momoa is in Manila, WHY DID I ONLY FIND OUT NOW?” she wrote in Filipino. Yes, in all caps.

@blueboiiscout also felt the need to share his feelings in all caps and said: “Y’ALL IM LITERALLY SHAKING RN AMBER, JASON AND JAMES IS IN MANILA AAAAAAAAAAAJXJSIXUIAJXIAUS.”

@beatrizisabel, obviously excited for later’s fan meet, said that her co-workers are in full support of her stanning.

‘Are you ready? I thought you’d get your hair and makeup done today,’ she quoted one of them saying in Filipino.

Momoa and Heard are in Manila for a fan event at the SM Mall of Asia today as part of a global tour.

In 2015, Momoa’s fans were devastated to find out when he canceled his appearance at AsiaPOP Comicon due to scheduling conflicts.

Aquman is set to hit Philippine theaters tomorrow, Dec. 12.
