Party Fiends, Get Ready: Music festival UNKNWN is returning as a fiesta

Annual music festival UNKNWN is returning in February in the form of an open-air traditional Filipino fiesta to be held at the Manila heritage site of Puerta Real Garden in Intramuros.

UNKNWN Fiesta will be headlined by at least five musical acts when it kicks off on Feb. 22, including sets from local club favorites Badkiss and Arbie Won, electronic-dance act Similar Objects, French-New Yorker DJ Louisahhh, and more.

The event will make use of the nearly four-century-old garden inside the walled city of Intramuros, which served as a venue for state occasions way back in the Spanish colonial era. Attendees can expect to see multiple stages, art installations, and a variety of fiesta-themed food options onsite.

Tickets to the first phase of the festival are priced at PHP3,150 (US$62), and are available on Pouchnation’s website.

UNKNWN, the three-year-old annual community-driven music festival, has produced around 30 shows since 2016 and has transformed unexpected spaces into party venues housing local and international DJs like British acts Four Tet, Jamie xx June, and returning local favorites DJs Badkiss and Arbie Won.
