Momoland, the Korean girl group behind the viral earworm Bboom Bboom arrived in Manila yesterday ahead of an exclusive concert at the Solaire Resort & Casino. While most of their fans won’t get to see them perform live, one very lucky guy got a private meet and greet.

Of course, it helps that he’s a world-famous boxer and Philippines senator. Yep, Manny Pacquiao got to meet Momoland — and he didn’t even have to leave his house.

The moment was shared by Pacquiao’s wife Jinkee yesterday in a series of photos on Instagram.

K-pop #Momoland is here! 👏👏👏

She also posted about it on her Instagram Story yesterday where she called fan favorite Nancy McDonie “beautiful.”

Momoland’s official Facebook page also shared a photo with the boxer and said that it was a “great honor” to have met him.

Filipino “merries” (aka Momoland fans) were ecstatic when the group announced in June that they would visit the country during a Facebook Live session. But their hopes to meet the girls were dashed in late July when Solaire announced that the Momoland show to be held in their hotel was an “exclusive and private event.

K-pop is huge in the Philippines but Momoland is particularly popular after their song Bboom Bboom went viral earlier this year. Viral as in everyone from kids to security guards, and even celebrities would post videos of themselves dancing to the song.

In June, Momoland even winked at their Filipinos fans in a music video where it featured the Philippine flag and jeepneys.

If it’s any consolation to fans, the group will be holding a Facebook Live event today while they’re in Manila.
