We can already hear fangirls and fanboys singing: Just hit it BBoom BBoom!

Momoland aka the Korean girl group behind the earworm BBoom BBoom will be coming to Manila for a fan meet on Jan. 25 next year at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.

The Araneta Center made the announcement on its official social media accounts yesterday.

Ticket details have yet to be announced.

Formed in 2016, Momoland is composed of Lee Hye Bin, Yeonwoo, Jane Sung, Kim Taeha, Kim Nayun, Daisy Yoo, Joo E Lee, Lee Ahin, and Nancy Jewel McDonie. The girl group is one of the most popular female K-pop groups in the Philippines, as proven by the many videos of Filipinos dancing to their hit BBoom BBoom.

In June, Momoland even winked at their Filipinos fans in their Baam music video where it featured the Philippine flag and jeepneys.

This isn’t the first time the girl group will be in Manila. Filipino “merries” (aka Momoland fans) were ecstatic when the girl group announced in June that they would visit the country during a Facebook Live session.

Too bad for them, though, because the group only performed in a private event in the Solaire Resort & Casino in August.

Fans thought they would get a second chance to see the group when the National University (NU), this year’s host of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP), announced in August that Momoland will perform during the September opening ceremony but that didn’t pan out either.

Momoland was a no-show and NU also deleted its initial announcements on social media. It was also discovered that Momoland was set to perform at the HallyuPopFest in Singapore on the same day as the opening ceremony.

Well, you know what they say, third time’s the charm. Hopefully, this will help bring Filipino fans closer to meeting their idols.
