Enjoy good food while rubbing elbows with celebrity chefs
Date: Nov. 4, Saturday
Venue: Bonifacio High Street
The “Cake Boss” is coming to Manila and you can meet him. Buddy Valastro of TLC’s Cake Boss is going to be in Bonifacio High Street this Saturday with celebrity chef and host Luke Nguyen. Apart from meeting the TV chefs, this year’s TLC Festival will also have local music, a tiangge (market) of local products, and an array of modern dishes inspired by local flavors.
Go for a run in the dark
Date: Nov 4, Saturday
Venue: Tanay Park, Tanay, Rizal
Did you miss last month’s Color Manila Glitter Run? No worries, you can still go to their Blacklight Tanay run this Saturday in the Tanay Park in Tanay, Rizal. You can choose from three race finishes: 3K, 5K, or 10K, so beginners are welcome.
The event is a great alternative to the usual night out in a club because it’s outdoors but will have the same neon lights and music you enjoy. Just prepare to sweat more than usual.
Start Christmas shopping early
Date: Nov. 4 – 5 (Saturday – Sunday)
Venue: UP Town Center
You only have a little over a month before Christmas so it might be a good idea to start Christmas shopping now. If you want to avoid the crowded malls in December, but still want the best deals, go to bazaars like the one this weekend at UP Town Center in Quezon City.
The bazaar will have 16 stalls that will sell everything from accessories to electronics, and even toys, so you’ll be sure to cross a bunch from your Christmas list.
