Watch the “most ambitious crossover event in history”
Date: Opens April 25, Wednesday
Venue: All major cinemas nationwide
Avengers: Infinity War opens in the Philippines today, two days before its release date in the United States.
Marvel fanboys and fangirls have been buzzing about the film since it was first announced in 2014. The movie brings together virtually every character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) like mainstays Iron Man, Captain America, and Thor, as well as Spider-Man and Black Panther who were added to the MCU in 2016.
It’s the “most ambitious crossover event in history,” after all. Can’t argue with memes.

Get creative with graffiti
Date: April 27 – 29 (Friday – Sunday)
Venue: MJ46 Center, Red Flower Compound, Elizabeth St. Cor. Sun Valley Dr., Paranaque City
Graffiti is an emerging art form in Manila — and this weekend marks the country’s fifth Meeting of Styles, a graffiti event held in various cities around the world.
It all starts with a roof deck party at Lokal Hostel (invite-only, sigh) in Makati’s Poblacion neighborhood, followed by two days of activities at the MJ46 Center, a factory outlet store in Parañaque City. Some event highlights: painting sessions, a custom sneaker exhibit, and performances by hip-hop artists.

Stop pretending you don’t like One Direction
Date: May 1, Tuesday
Venue: Mall of Asia Arena, Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City
Those who still think One Direction and its members are only for screaming teenage girls… have you heard Harry Style’s first solo album yet? HAVE YOU? Anyway, the guy’s not short of any fans. They’re way excited about his upcoming concert on Tuesday and we’re already bracing ourselves for all the social media fanfare to follow.
Those with tickets are advised to be at the Mall of Asia Arena by mid-afternoon to catch the 7pm start time. As we all know, this coming Tuesday, May 1, is a holiday, which means you don’t have to worry about missing school or work, so be there early and let the lit times roll. We think…
Well, anyway, here’s a little taste.
