This year has seen a number of big-name entertainment moves — after Bea Alonzo surprised fans with her move to GMA-7, it seems that another talent is leaving the nest. Lovi Poe has officially signed with ABS-CBN!
Lovi broke the news on her Instagram and Twitter pages on Thursday, September 16 in the simplest way: posting a series of three hearts in red, green, and blue.
In a series of tweets, the star expressed gratitude to GMA-7, her home for 15 years.
She wrote, “Hindi po biro ang 15 years. I would like to thank GMA for taking a chance on this unknown dreamer; for believing in me and supporting me all these years.” (15 years is no joke. I would like to thank GMA for taking a chance on this unknown dreamer; for believing in me and supporting me all these years.)
I have utmost respect and gratitude to the network that has given me my roots and a heart full of memories.
Thank you for planting my dreams. Thank you for giving it time, love and effort to water it.
Punong puno ng pagmamahal
At pasasalamat ♥️,Lovi Poe

Lovi also thanked GMA-7 for giving her roots and allowing her to prosper.
“I have utmost respect and gratitude to the network that has given me my roots and a heart full of memories. Thank you for planting my dreams. Thank you for giving it time, love and effort to water it.”
In a separate tweet, ABS-CBN’s Dreamscape Entertainment posted photos of Lovi’s contract-signing event.

It seems that Lovi Poe is making one career milestone after another — earlier this year, she landed a role in the Idris Elba-produced Hollywood film The Chelsea Cowboy.
Any guesses on her first project with the Mother Ignacia network? Our bet is on Ang Probinsyano.
