Manileños and Cebuanos, get ready to save up and hear some Lauv songs next year.
Singer-songwriter Lauv is coming back to Manila in 2019 and he’ll be performing in not one, but two cities in the Philippines for his upcoming Asian tour next year. The synth-pop artist will sing to fans at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City on May 20 and the Waterfront Hotel in Cebu on May 21.
He made the announcement himself on his official social media pages yesterday: “IM COMING BACK TO ASIA.”

According to organizers AEG Presents and Ovation Productions, the pre-selling of tickets for both dates will start today at 10:30am until Nov. 22 at 10pm. The general sale is scheduled on Nov. 23.
The price range for tickets at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City is at PHP2,115 (US$39.87) – PHP4,760 (US$89.72), while the tickets for the Waterfront Hotel in Cebu is at PHP795 (US$14.98) – PHP3,700 (US$69.74).
This will be Lauv’s third time in the country. He first performed in a series of mall shows last year. He also sang to Filipino fans at the Wanderland music festival in March.
The musician is best known for hits such as Paris in the Rain, I Like Me Better, The Other, and his latest track, There’s No Way.
In August 2017, his smash hit I Like Me Better garnered over 100 million streams on Spotify. In honor of that feat, he shared how he made the track to his followers.
