As they say, there are always two sides to every story.
Kim Chiu is refuting a recent report claiming she was rude to a reporter at a cemetery in Cebu City last Tue, Nov 1.
A Cebu Daily News article published Wed, Nov 2 claimed that Kim was “utterly rude” to the newspaper’s editorial staff after she asked Kim for a photo as part of their All Souls’ Day coverage.
But Kim is refuting the report, according to Nerisa Almo of PEP.

PEP reports Kim would have had no problems with the reporter if she simply asked a photo.
But the Cebu News Daily reporter also asked for an interview, Kim said.
That was a problem since the talents of ABS-CBN talent agency Star Magic (which Kim is part of) are not allowed to give interviews without permission from their management.
“She (Cebu News Daily reporter) asked for an interview, I still have to ask permission sa manager ko, (because) all they know is I’m in my private vacation,” Kim said as quoted by PEP. “Picture is fine. It’s super ok.”
“I accommodate a lot of times yesterday, so please get your facts straight.”
“Don’t make up stories,” Kim also said, in what seems to be a response to Cebu News Daily‘s report.
Kim doesn’t seem to be too bothered by the report, at least based on her social media posts. She’s currently in the US for a series of shows with her fellow ABS-CBN stars.
