American boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. is now in Manny Pacquiao’s home turf after arriving in the Philippines’ Boracay island yesterday.
An Instagram video shared by user @wendellvans yesterday shows Mayweather arriving in true “The Money Team” style with his own private jet the “Air Mayweather.” The boxer is staying in the five-star Mövenpick Resort & Spa Boracay.

There are also photos of him at the strip mall D’Mall, where he shot some hoops and took photos with fans, including a police and SWAT team.
According to one of Mayweather’s Filipino friends Lester Codog, the boxer could meet in private with rival Pacquiao if he isn’t too busy, ABS-CBN News reported.
The two last fought in 2015, in a bout dubbed “The Fight of the Century.” However, it didn’t live up to expectations as the many thought it was boring. Mayweather defeated Pacman back in 2015 via unanimous decision.
Pacquiao has been eager for a rematch since his loss. He announced in September that he and Mayweather will fight once again in December, but that didn’t happen.
Instead, Mayweather faced and won against kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa whom he floored three times. Mayweather reiterated after the fight that he was still retired.
In January, Mayweather and Pacquiao saw each other at an NBA game in Los Angeles and shook hands. Later that month, Mayweather visited and wished Pacquiao good luck just before the latter’s fight against American Adrien Broner. Pacquiao won that fight and kept his World Boxing Association (WBA) welterweight world title through a unanimous decision.
Guess boxing fans will just have to wait for the two to announce if they will have another fight in the future. In the meantime, Mayweather’s busy enjoying Boracay’s white sand.
