UPDATE: Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but it turns out that Cole Sprouse and Brooklyn Beckham are not going to be in Manila next month.
Local showbiz website PEP initially said in an article published yesterday that the two were coming to Manila to walk the runway during clothing brand Bench’s 30th-anniversary show on Nov. 18.
A representative from Bench told Coconuts through email and Facebook messenger that Sprouse and Beckham will not be coming and that Mr. Ben Chan, the brand’s founder, may have been misquoted. PEP has since updated and corrected their article.
But not before fans expressed their excitement on Twitter. Both Sprouse and Beckham are Bench endorsers and have a huge fan base, especially with the Gen Z crowd.

Sprouse currently stars as the emo “I’m weird” Jughead Jones in the Archie Comics TV adaptation Riverdale and has 9.4 million Instagram followers. He’s most known for starring in Disney Channel’s The Suite Life of Zack and Cody with his twin Dylan Sprouse.
If you were a TV and movie-watching adult in the 90s, you’d know him as Ross’ son Ben on Friends and that kid from Adam Sandler’s Big Daddy.
Beckham, if you haven’t connected the dots, is the son of football star David Beckham and fashion designer and ex-Spice Girl Victoria Beckham. He models and has even more followers than Sprouse with 10.4 million.
