Singaporean brunch joint Nanyang announced early last week that it will be selling its milk tea at PHP9 (US$0.17).
We’re used to seeing some pretty sweet deals on drinks, but this one kinda takes the cake. The shop will be selling its Kopi Jelly Milk Tea at a reduced price from 2pm until 6pm on select dates all this month, at different branches across town.
Nanyang’s milk tea drinks are brewed using the traditional “teh tarik” or tea pulling method that’s popular in Singapore and Malaysia. The same beverage is then loaded with chewy coffee jelly bits, and finished off with the creaminess of milk.
The promo will be available on the following dates:
Sept. 13-15: SM Megamall
Sept. 20-22: Greenbelt 5, SM Pampanga
Sept. 27-29: SM Aura, Bonifacio High Street
Sept. 27-28: Bonifacio One
Nanyang got its name from the Chinese term for “Southern Ocean.” The Singaporean brunch restaurant opened in June 2018 in Manila, and serves piping hot laksa, buttery kayak toast, and distinct milk tea offerings with a modern twist.
