Four new scoop-able, sip-able, portable holiday desserts — billed as “Dreamy Delights” — have just dropped in McDonald’s stores nationwide. The main selling point of these sweet treats: sugar, chocolate, sugar, caffeine, sugar, and tapioca pearls — oh, and did we mention sugar?

Need a quick helping of thick cocoa on the go-go? For PHP39 (US$0.76), there’s McDonald’s Rich Chocolate Pie. Aching for soft-serve ice cream with a chewy twist? The Brown Sugar Sundae with Pearls for PHP49 (US$0.95) should hit the spot. Caffeine with chocolate and a sugary crunch?  The Coffee McFlurry with Oreo, at PHP49, will have you feeling fuzzy in no time.

How about sip-able beverages with add-ons, just because? The Milk Tea McFloat with Brown Sugar Pearls at PHP75 (US$1.50) would perhaps suffice.

These holiday pick-me-ups are available starting today until supplies last.

Since arriving in Manila in the ’80s, the fast food behemoth, referred to locally as “McDo,” has since tuned in to local taste buds, serving uniquely Filipino favorites, like sweet-style McSpaghetti and Chicken McDo with rice.
