Thirsty for McMuffins? Then you might like the new breakfast deals that American fast food chain McDonald’s will be offering every Monday morning from today until early October.
Here’s how it works: the deal of the week will be announced every Friday on McDonald’s Philippines’ official Twitter and Facebook pages. Whatever the promo on offer is, it will only be available from 6am to 8am, and is being branded as a weekly “Hooray for Monday” breakfast special.
Today’s deal, for instance, encompassed double drink promos: two Premium Roast Coffees for PHP50 (US$0.96), or two Iced Coffee Original drinks for PHP70 (US$1.34).
McDonald’s will be announcing the deets for the remaining promos — for Sept 23, Sept 30 and Oct 7 — on its country Facebook and Twitter accounts. Here’s hoping that we’ll see a juicier deal on the rest of the McDonald’s breakfast menu, such as its breakfast plates comprised of pancakes, hash browns, eggs, sausages and rice, or on those aforementioned McMuffin sandwiches.
The deals will only be available at participating McDonald’s branches nationwide, through dine-in, take out, and drive-thru only — that means the special pricing won’t be applicable for deliveries through McDelivery, GrabFood or Food Panda.
McDonald’s first opened in the Philippines in 1981 in Morayta, Manila. Since then, it has expanded to over 600 branches nationwide, and has introduced localized favorites like the Chicken McDo, Burger McDo, and sweet Filipino-style McSpaghetti.
