Those who longed to win a golden ticket from Willy Wonka as a kid can now (sort of) live their dream thanks to a different dessert giant.
Giving away golden tickets to 100 customers today is cookie brand Famous Amos, which is opening its first store in the Philippines today at the S Maison mall in Pasay City.
The golden tickets will be hidden inside cookie bags and are equivalent to a PHP100 (US$1.96) gift card, the store said in a Facebook post today.
It also previously announced that special edition cookie jars will be given to the first 10 people to buy 1 kilo of cookies on a single purchase.

Famous Amos was founded in Los Angeles in 1975 by Wally Amos. Its Manila branch carries eight flavors: No Nut Chocolate Chip, Chocolate Chip Pecan, Oatmeal, Butterscotch, Chocolate Chip Macadamia, White Chocolate Macadamia, Chocolate White Chocolate Chip, and Double Chocolate Chip Pecan.
Apart from the S Maison outlet, a Famous Amos branch will also open in SM North EDSA in Quezon City among other planned branches around the metro.
