One woman’s late night supper run turned into a nightmare when she was allegedly sexually assaulted by two men while on her way back to her flat.
According to a report by the China Press, translated by The Star Online, the 22-year-old was walking back to her flat in Ampang Jaya on New Year’s Eve when she was approached by two men at the staircase.
All of a sudden, the men allegedly gagged her and stripped her, before one of them forced the victim to perform oral sex on him.
A couple passing nearby who saw the incident reportedly shouted at the men, forcing them to flee with the woman’s handbag containing cash and valuables.
Ampang Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Hamzah Alias told the Chinese daily that the woman, who had earlier gone for supper alone at a coffeeshop nearby, sustained minor injuries to her face and chin as a result of the assault.
ACP Hamzah added that the police managed to detain of the suspects, aged 31, a couple of hours after the incident.
The police are still looking for his 20-year-old accomplice.
