Since Coldplay’s tickets in Malaysia were released last week, there have been more stories about ticket scammers than there are verses in their hit song “Viva la Vida.”

The situation has become so dire that the government had no choice but to step in like a superhero with a penchant for melancholic ballads.

They’ve swung into action, instructing relevant authorities to crack down on those pesky individuals attempting to make a fortune out of selling Coldplay tickets online.

It seems like even bureaucrats can’t resist belting out a chorus of “Fix You” when injustice is afoot.

Amidst all the drama and heartbreak among Coldplay fans, Malaysian Tiktoker @moseswck saw a golden opportunity to inject some laughter into the atmosphere.

Sejukmain?? Dont la

He unleashed a parody video featuring two fictional characters who, in a twisted turn of fate, end up with a Malay version of Coldplay after buying tickets from a reseller. It’s like buying a bowl of pasta and finding yourself slurping laksa instead.

In the hilarious parody, Coldplay’s famous hit ‘Yellow’ takes on a whole new life. Instead of “look at the stars, look how they shine for you,” we get “tengok bintang, dia sinar untukmu.”

But they didn’t stop there. They also gave Coldplay’s ‘Scientist’ a linguistic makeover. Instead of “nobody said it was easy,” we’re treated to the hilarious twist of “tiada orang kata senang.”

It’s like trying to follow a GPS navigation system that’s constantly leading you astray but with a catchy tune.

And the grand reveal at the end of the video? Brace yourself. One of the characters thought they had struck gold by scoring a Coldplay ticket, only to find out that instead of the bona fide UK band, they got Sejukmain—a literal translation of ‘Coldplay’ in Malay.

So, while the authorities crack down on the ticket scalpers, let’s take a moment to appreciate the comedic relief provided by @moseswck. After all, laughter is the best medicine, even when it comes to Coldplay mishaps. And who knows, maybe Sejukmain will become the next big sensation. Move over, Chris Martin – make way for some Malaysian melodies!
