A Kedah couple have seen their short video clip of what they claim is an unidentified, eel-like creature emerging from THEIR TOILET go viral, after they uploaded it to YouTube yesterday evening.
Zul Hanif Anip, 25, and his wife Puteri were enjoying their Friday at home when they claim they spotted the swamp-like creature emerge from their toilet, and take a tour around their house.
Process that, for just a second.
Zul, familiar with local snakes and animals, as they live surrounded by paddy fields, did not recognize the creature in front of him, he told local paper the Sun Daily.
He believes the creature “grew up inside the pipe works connected to the toilet because [he] checked, and there is no entry point for it to have gotten inside.” He reported that it was about two meters-long, had a small head, fat body, and short tail.
Process that again. A creature, longer than you, raised in a toilet drain, has now grown powerful enough to come up the drain, fight the flush, and is currently touring area houses. Shaken, shocked, #shook.
Credit to the couple, whereas some (definitely us) would have screamed for a full minute before running to the hills forever, captured the creature. They took it to a local river and released it.
That said, the video snippet online raises quite a few questions: Why didn’t they keep it and send it to the Fire Department for identification and disposal? Why aren’t there more videos? How is this thing going to survive if it’s lived only a toilet life? IS THIS EVEN REAL?
