Truck driver suffers burns in Shah Alam accident

The driver of a container truck reportedly suffered burns after the vehicle burst into flames following a collision with a van in Shah Alam today.

A New Straits Times report said the incident happened at the Shah Padu toll plaza, at 5am.

It was reported that the van driver and a female passenger sustained minor injuries.

Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director (operations) Mohd Sani Harul told the daily that the truck driver had 10 percent burns on his body.

All three victims were reportedly rushed to the Tuanku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital in Klang.
